LuVille Muiderslot

Muiderslot is one of the Netherlands' most famous medieval castles and an impressive structure with more than 700 years of history. The castle was built in the late 13th century by Count Floris V and occupied a strategic position on the Vecht River, where it was intended to control shipping and protect important trade routes. Over the centuries the fortress experienced wars, decay and reconstruction before being restored and preserved as one of the Netherlands' finest historic castles.
