Star-Shaped Plate with Glass

The star shape makes this decorative glass plate from Ib Laursen much more than just an underlay. The star is divided into delicate panels of clear glass framed by gold-coloured metal. This creates a light and elegant look where the colour of the table or surface can still be seen through the glass. With its classic star shape it is especially suitable for Advent and Christmas, but it can easily serve other functions around the home.

Place a pillar candle in the centre of the star and use it as a simple candle decoration on the dining table, coffee table, or windowsill. The gold-coloured metal rim catches the light and adds a subtle glow around the candle. You can also combine it with small branches, pine cones or other Christmas decorations if you want a fuller arrangement.

The star measures 18.5 cm in diameter and can also be used as a decorative trivet under a hot mug. That way it can stay out throughout the winter, serving both as decoration and a practical piece at the coffee table.
