Advent Calendar with Rocking Horse and Teddy Bear

Should the numbers for today show the date, or should they tell how many days are left until Christmas Eve? This decorative Christmas calendar can be used either way and makes it a cozy little December tradition to turn the two number blocks every day.

The calendar is arranged as a complete little Christmas scene. A teddy bear sits on the classic rocking horse, while a green Christmas tree with a star stands on the horse's back. The red, green and golden tones, the rocking horse and the teddy bear give the calendar a nostalgic look reminiscent of old-fashioned toys and the expectant days of December.

At the bottom sit the two white, rotatable blocks with red numbers, and below them "December" is written in clear letters. If you want to use it as a regular December calendar, simply set the blocks to today's date. Or reverse the function and let the numbers count down, so both young and old can see each day how many days remain until Christmas Eve.

With a height of just under 24 cm, the calendar is also a Christmas decoration that fills a nice spot on a sideboard, dresser or shelf. It doesn't need to be put away between daily rituals, because the rocking horse, Christmas tree and little teddy make it decorative throughout December.

The teddy motif and the old-fashioned rocking horse add a touch of teddy-bear nostalgia and toy-like Christmas charm that many adults also love. And because the calendar isn't tied to a specific year, it can be brought out and become part of Christmas again and again.
