Tora krukke i brun keramik med ører

Warm earth tones and a glossy, lively glaze give this Tora ceramic jar from Ib Laursen a cozy expression with clear references to old storage jars from the country kitchen. The simple cylindrical shape and the two small handles on the sides emphasize the nostalgic design, while the rustic glaze adds depth and a subtle play of colors. The jar is therefore decorative in itself, but above all lovely because it can be used in so many different ways around the home.

Let it sit on the kitchen counter as a utensil jar for wooden spoons, spatulas and whisks, or fill it with cutlery when the table is set for an informal dinner. On an open kitchen shelf, the brown ceramic looks great alongside wood, glass, wicker and tableware in light tones.

The jar can also be used as a plant pot cover for a green plant or an herb. The combination of the warm brown glaze and fresh green leaves creates a beautiful contrast. Dried flowers, artificial blooms and branches are another option if the jar is to be used more decoratively in the living room, entryway or on the windowsill.

It measures 16 cm in height and 12 cm in diameter, making it a size that’s easy to find space for. The jar is also available in green, and the two colors look lovely when placed together. Mix them, for example, with different plants or kitchen utensils to create a small arrangement with a rustic country-kitchen atmosphere.
