Pinecone candlestick for taper candles, 12.5 cm high, brass

The open cone shape gives this Gloria candle holder from Ib Laursen a beautiful, full-bodied look, with the many brass leaves spreading around the middle like the scales on a large spruce cone. The warm glow of the brass naturally complements Christmas colors and makes the holder decorative both with and without candles. It is part of Ib Laursen's Stillenat series and is lovely when your Christmas décor could use a bit more character.

This version measures 12.5 cm in height and is designed for standard taper candles with a diameter of 2.2 cm. The slightly thicker tapers suit the full cone shape and make the candle holder ideal for the Christmas table. For example, arrange several down the table among spruce branches, Christmas baubles and cones, or let a single holder be a focal point on a smaller candle tray.

The brass used in the Gloria series has an intentionally rustic and lively expression. The surface may therefore show variations and should not be expected to be perfectly smooth and uniform like polished brass. This is part of the design and gives each holder more character. Brass will also naturally develop a patina over time. If you prefer a shinier look, the holder can be gently polished with a suitable brass cleaner.

The warm brass color looks great with classic Christmas red, dark green and spruce, but also with cream, brown and other natural tones.
