Light Grey Ceramic Pig Tealight Holder

The Christmas pig doesn't have to be red. This little pig from Ib Laursen is made of stone-gray ceramic and gives the classic Christmas motif a much calmer, more natural look. On its back the pig has a holder for a taper candle, so it works both as a candlestick and as a cute little Christmas decoration for the table.

The pig measures 10 cm in length and therefore takes up very little space between plates, glasses and Christmas decorations. Place a white or cream-colored taper candle in it and let the neutral color palette continue, or choose one of Ib Laursen's decorative taper candles with Christmas motifs and make the candle itself the eye-catcher.

The stone-gray shade is especially nice for those who prefer a Christmas table in natural tones rather than lots of bright red. Combine the candle holder with a linen-colored tablecloth, green branches, pine cones, wood and candles, or add brass-colored accents for a little extra warmth.

Use a single pig as a small detail, or place several among the table decorations. It's also sweet on the windowsill or on a sideboard during December. And, like the more colorful Christmas pigs, it can of course also be used as an unusual "mandelgave" (almond gift), to be brought out again next Christmas.
