Taper candle holder with metal leaves and wooden beads

This handmade candle holder from Ib Laursen is so decorative that it can easily stand alone and draw attention without a matching holder beside it. Around the slim holder in dark metal, small metal leaves grow up along the stem, while light mango wood balls sit between the leaves like berries. The combination evokes both mistletoe and winter's white snowberries and gives the holder a natural expression with clear references to Christmas and winter.

The candle holder is 24 cm high and designed for standard taper candles. The generous height means that both the candle and the decorative branches are elevated and become visible on a set table, a sideboard, or in the windowsill. For example, place a cream-colored taper candle to highlight the pale wooden berries, or choose a dark green or red candle to bring out the colors of Christmas more strongly.

For the Christmas table the holder doesn't need much extra decoration around it. A little spruce or a few cones are enough, as the leaves and small berries already serve as part of the decoration. It also looks beautiful on its own on a dresser or side table, where the silhouette can be seen from multiple sides.
