Santa has taken a seat in a small red steam locomotive and is ready to circle the decorated Christmas tree. Maybe hes on his way out with the last gifts of the year, or maybe hes simply enjoying a ride with his pretty Christmas train before Christmas Eve begins. This charming music box from Musicboxworld is filled with nostalgic Christmas details and combines a classic Christmas tree with music and movement.

The green Christmas tree is decorated with golden bead garlands, red baubles and striped candy canes, while a large gold-colored star shines from the top. A small railway track runs around the tree, where Santa sits in his red and blue locomotive. At the trees base there are small wrapped gifts, green wreaths and delicate wintry details that give the music box a cozy, old-fashioned look.

The round base is almost a little Christmas scene in itself. Here stands a beautiful red sleigh with golden ornaments, filled with presents and toys waiting to be handed out. Beside it stands a small potted Christmas tree, and along the edge its decorated with green garlands, red bows and small jingle bells. The many details make the music box interesting to admire from every angle.

When the mechanical movement is wound up, the Christmas tree and the train with Santa turn to the melody "O Tannenbaum", also known as "O Christmas Tree". The familiar carol and the gentle motion create a lovely atmosphere reminiscent of old-fashioned Christmas markets and small mechanical holiday displays.

With a height of 16 cm, the music box is perfect on a dresser, windowsill or as part of a nostalgic Christmas scene. Its also a lovely gift idea for anyone who loves Christmas trains, music boxes and ornaments with little stories.

It may become a firm tradition to wind up the movement when the decorations are brought out, letting Santa take the first ride of the year in his little steam locomotive.
