Dala Horse, Red or White, 8 cm

From Swedish folk art to the branches of the Christmas tree. The Dala horse has a long history in Sweden and is today one of the country’s best-known symbols. Here the traditional wooden horse has been given a simple Christmas edition in red and white, while still featuring clear references to the old decorated horses from Dalarna.

The Dala horse is made of wood and measures approx. 8 cm in height. It has a hanging cord and is available in 4 different variants: red or white with either floral decoration or a simpler decorative pattern. The different versions are lovely on their own, but especially decorative when several red and white Dala horses hang together.

Use the Dala horse as a Christmas tree ornament among woven hearts, straw decorations and other Nordic Christmas decor. It also works well as a hanging ornament on larch branches, twisted branches or a spruce branch, where its characteristic silhouette can really stand out.

The red and white colours make it easy to combine with classic Christmas decorations, while the wood and the story behind the motif add more than just another hanging ornament.

A small taste of Swedish Christmas tradition with roots far back in time, ready to gallop straight onto the Christmas tree.
