Dala horses in a box, set of 2

The little Dala horse is one of Sweden's most recognizable symbols and long ago made its way from Swedish folk art to Christmas decorations. Here is the classic wooden horse in a small version, perfect for hanging among fir, baubles and other traditional Christmas tree ornaments.

The box contains 2 wooden Dala horses, one red and one white. Both are decorated with small painted patterns inspired by the traditional ornamentation the Dala horse is known for. The horses measure approx. 5 cm in height and have a cord for hanging.

Hang them on the Christmas tree, where the red Dala horse in particular fits naturally among classic Christmas colours, while the white one adds a bit of variation. They also look lovely on larch branches, twisted branches or on a spruce branch above the table, where the little wooden horses can be seen from several sides.

The Dala horse has its roots in Dalarna in Sweden, where the wooden horses have been carved and decorated for generations. That makes the motif especially nice in a Nordic Christmas interior, where wood, craftsmanship and old holiday traditions meet.
