Silent Night Tealight House with Snowman at the Window

A small snowman has found his place by the window of this cozy Stillenat house from Ib Laursen and immediately turns the façade into a little winter scene. The house is made of stoneware with a warm red façade, light windows and a brown door. On the roof there are two red chimneys, which give the house a different look from the other houses in the series.

The little snowman by the window is naturally the eye-catcher. With a black hat and buttons he stands close to the house, as if he has just been built in the snow outside. The lively glaze highlights the small details and gives the ceramic house the rustic, handmade character that suits the Stillenat series' Christmas setting.

Place a tealight in the house and let the warm glow shine through the many small windows. An LED tealight can also be used and is a convenient solution for lighting the house during the long December evenings. Place it alone on the windowsill, on a shelf or among fir branches and other Christmas decorations.

If you have several Stillenat houses, the snowman house can become part of a small Christmas village. Place the houses on moss, sprinkle a light layer of artificial snow around them and add small fir trees. The snowman fits in especially well here and it almost looks as if the snow has just fallen across the village.
