Avignon krukke naturfarvet med grøn løbeglasur

Color play is one of the first things you notice about the Avignon jar from Ib Laursen. The natural-coloured ceramic meets an intense green drip glaze that flows down the jar, creating a lively transition between the glazed and the more raw surface. The organic shapes and the decorative handles emphasize the handmade expression and evoke 1970s ceramic trends, when striking glazes and rustic details filled interior design.

The jar is 22 cm high and has a size that makes it attractive as a standalone focal piece. A lovely way to use it is on a kitchen windowsill with dried grain stalks, grasses or dried flowers, where the golden natural tones pair beautifully with the deep green glaze. It can also be filled with artificial flowers and branches and used as a decorative pot elsewhere in the home.
