Ejnar the Ribe Elf with Skis

When the snow falls over Ribe and the narrow streets have grown quiet, Ejnar knows it is time to fetch his skis. They are always ready behind the door of the old cobbler's workshop, so he can set off quickly. After 389 Christmas Eves the joy is still the same: being the very first to leave his ski tracks in the freshly fallen snow.

The Ribe elf Ejnar from Ib Laursen is 13.3 cm tall and made of polyresin. He stands with his skis over his shoulder, ready for another winter stroll through Ribe. The patterned knitted sweater, blue trousers, red elf hat and small boots give him a warm, classic elf look with many fine details.

For Ejnar the trip is not about getting there quickly. He loves the silence, the snow and the untouched streets. When the first tracks lie behind him through the white town, Ejnar in his own way has wished Ribe a merry Christmas.
