Ribe Elves Signe with Christmas Book

Signe has found her favorite spot by the window in a small house with a view of Ribe Domkirkes spir. Here she sits with her nose buried in old books about Christmas and reads stories that may be almost as old as she is. And with 377 Christmas Eves behind her, Signe knows quite a lot about both Christmas and old tales.

Ribenissen Signe from Ib Laursen is 9.7 cm tall and sits with her open Christmas book in her lap. She is dressed in striped trousers, a warm sweater, red boots and a classic red elf hat. The seated pose and the many small details around the book and clothing make her particularly charming on a shelf, in the windowsill or among other Ribenisser.

Signe also keeps an eye on life outside while she reads. She especially likes it when someone stops and looks in through the window with a smile. The butcher always nods to her, and then Signe flips the pages a little louder. You never know who might be standing outside listening in.
