Thorvald — Ribe Elf (Sleeping)

Thorvald was really only going to rest for a moment after dinner. He found the butcher's old bench, made himself comfortable and didn't get much further before his eyes drifted shut. After 392 Christmas Eves, Thorvald knows that a good Christmas dinner can easily be followed by a little nap.

The sleeping Ribenisse Thorvald from Ib Laursen is 11 cm long and lies stretched out with his hands resting on his stomach and a content little smile beneath his glasses. His red elf hat, the warm patterned knitted details and the red trousers give him a cozy Christmas look, while the reclining pose makes Thorvald quite different from many of the other Ribenisser.

And there isn't much that can tempt him up right now. Thorvald has eaten everything that was warm, and around him the scent of cloves, brown potatoes and the butcher's medister sausage still lingers. That suits him perfectly. If a little snore should come from the bench, you'll have to forgive him.
