Ribenisserne Agnes with rice pudding

Agnes knows exactly how real rice porridge should be made. After all, she has had 371 Christmas Eves to practise. Every Christmas she makes the porridge from scratch using her old family recipe, and of course it is stirred with a wooden spoon. When the scent spreads through the kitchen, Agnes is certain that Christmas has truly arrived in Ribe.

Ribenissen Agnes from Ib Laursen is 14 cm tall and made of polyresin. She stands holding her bowl of rice porridge, wearing a red dress with an apron, striped stockings and the classic red elf hat. The many small details bring the story to life and make Agnes charming to display among your other Christmas elf decorations.

And Agnes doesn’t take any chances with the porridge. The bowl must be left out for the elves in the evening, so she always hides a little extra in the kitchen. The brush-maker does, admittedly, say he can smell the porridge all the way to the corner. But if the bowl should be empty the next morning, Agnes smiles all day.
