Contoured Landscape Moss Mat - Green

When the forest floor should be nicely uneven, this coarse moss mat from MyVillage adds plenty of structure right from the start. The green surface is built up in distinct, soft elevations that create small hills and valleys, giving the miniature landscape a completely different depth than a flat base.

The moss mat measures 70 x 50 cm and can be used whole or cut into smaller pieces. The coarse texture is particularly attractive in woodland areas and more natural parts of a Christmas landscape, where trees, gnomes and animals can be placed between the different levels. Use it, for example, for a forest scene with roe deer and foxes, or around small huts on the edge of the Christmas village.

The pronounced elevations also make it easy to create interesting transitions to other surfaces. Lay artificial snow over the tops of the moss while the green still peeks out lower down, and you get the feeling of a hilly winter landscape where the snow has settled unevenly.
