Pinecone taper candle holder, 9.3 cm high, brass

The slim cone shape gives this Gloria candle holder from Ib Laursen an elegant expression, with many pointed cone scales layered closely around the holder. The form almost resembles the elongated laurel leaves of classical Greek and Roman laurel wreaths, giving the cone a different and more refined look than traditional, broader cones. Together with the warm glow of the brass, the candle holder becomes a decorative feature in Christmas décor.

This variant is 9.3 cm high and designed for taper candles with a diameter of 2.2 cm. Its slim height looks beautiful on the Christmas table, where it can stand among fir branches, pine cones, baubles and tableware. The brass of the Gloria series is characterized by a rustic, lively surface. Play of colour, small marks and variations are therefore part of the expression, and the candle holder should not be expected to have a completely smooth and uniform, mirror-polished finish. The brass may develop further patina over time, giving the holder even more character. If a shinier appearance is desired, it can be gently polished with a suitable brass polish.
