Pinecone candlestick for taper candles, 7 cm high, brass

With the look of a small cone built from golden leaves, this Gloria candle holder from Ib Laursen has a distinctly different expression than the series' more classical cone shapes. The elongated, pointed cone scales sit closely around the candle cup and can almost bring to mind the laurel leaves of classic Greek and Roman laurel wreaths. This gives the small holder an elegant yet nature-inspired appearance.

The candle holder is part of Ib Laursen's Stillenat series and measures just 7 cm in height and 4 cm in diameter. It is designed for taper candles with a diameter of 2.2 cm. The compact size makes it especially lovely on the Christmas table, where several holders can stand among glasses, tableware, fir and Christmas decorations without taking up much space.

The brass of the Gloria series has a lively, rustic surface with variations, marks and colour play that are part of its character. You should therefore not expect perfectly smooth, mirror-polished brass. The material can also develop a beautiful patina over time. If you prefer a shinier finish, the brass can be gently polished with a suitable brass polish.
